We had some friends over tonight and we played Amazeing Labryinth and Break the Safe. The first is a slower paced, save yourself kind of game and the second is a face paced, have to finish as a team in 30 minutes.
What games do you have and what do you like to play?
Mike and I have the following games:
- Phase 10
- Apples to Apples
- Scrabble
- Boggle
- Yahtzee (this game was invented by a couple while on a trip on their yaht)
- Break the Safe
- Amazeing Labryinth
- Murder Mystery "How to Kill a Mother-in-law"
- Simpsons Trivia
- Trivial Pursuit 90's Edition
- Dutch Blitz
- Ziggity
- Monopoly (the Kelowna version)
On our wish list:
- Balderdash (the newest version that is more then just dictionary definitions)
- Cranium
- Pirate's Cove
- Any game Frasier has
- Clue (Mikes wants Simpsons version)
- Gillateen (spelling?)
- We want to try and get some games that are not just your normal board games; the ones you have to go to a specialty store to get. I think we are at a point in our lives where we want to take our "gaming" to the next level. That was cheesy I know but we just want to get some different games.
I have to say that the best part of playing games is the time spent with family. I know my body is now starting to reject all of those treats I ate while playing games with my family, but for the memories made, it was worth every bite!

there is the game we played with a couple in Idaho that we think is called emotions, it was really fun. you have to say a normal phrase in a specified emotion voice and others guess what emotion you are having. pretty funny...
Bournes will be delighted that you liked Guillotine
you have dutch blitz!
ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
come over and play.
i heart that game. we played it in edmonton this past summer for the first time and i loved it.

i love the game things, there are different questions like One thing you remember about christmas, and everyone but one person writes it down and that one person has to read them out loud and the others have to guess who said what
