memories

I love Sundays. Mike and I get to spend endless hours together. We sleep, read, watch movies (Disney of course) and play games. After doing some personal progress on Sunday I decided it was time for a puzzle.

I l.o.v.e puzzles. and I am good at them. (see that Pensivety, I mentioned something I am good at)

Doing puzzles in my family growing up was mostly a Christmas tradition, but now that I am older it seems I don't do them as much as I used to. It was nice to do one again. It was a 700 piece JIGSAW puzzle of kittens sitting in cowboy boots. When I was younger, say 9 or 10, I used to make sure people knew they were called jigsaw puzzles, not just puzzles. There apparently was a big difference then, to me anyways.

Also, the puzzle means something to me because Kristi and I drove down to Utah one weekend and got to spend some time with her Grandma. Her Grandma only puts a puzzle together once, and then she goes on to another one and never does them twice. So I got a bagfull of puzzles, which I still have, and the cat puzzle was one of them.

My sister Lana also got the puzzle master gene and I like that we share that together.

My family use to get a puzzle for Christmas every year and our goal was to get it done by New Years. It was great fun.

I really haven't done a jigsaw puzzle in years. This reminded me of when our family went to Kelowna for the summer (when I first met you) and we had a big jigsaw puzzle going on. That was probably the last one I did. I should buy one some time, and have fun. Puzzles are my two-year olds favorite thing to do currently.
