inspiration

I just watched part of a video on YouTube about an amazing girl who has overcome so much. What an inspiration. I have been thinking about my sister JJ who had a horrific accident in November and has also overcome so much.

What a gracious Heavenly Father and kind brother Jesus Christ to allow these women to live with their families still. My thoughts and feelings tonight have been about how I need to appreciate what I have. I talked to another sister tonight and her situation in life to me seems like a dream. To her somedays, it is ordinary and the same. Interesting how that goes sometimes.

I had a wonderful experience at the Regina temple about a month ago. I received an answer to a prayer. Maybe not exactly what I wanted to feel but one I needed and one I appreciated and one I am trying to obey.

It is neat how such little accomplishments in life can make us so happy. I had to give myself a shot yesterday for the first time and I did it! I was so scared, but I did it, and it wasn't as hard as I was expecting. My husband was my cheering section while my shaky hands did what they should and I poked my self successfully.

As my cute 2 year old niece sang to me on the phone tonight..."the sun will come out tomorrow"
